The Youth W.A.V.E. Purpose Statement
Youth W.A.V.E. exists to TELL teenagers the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to TRAIN them to serve him through ministry, to TEACH them from God's word, to come TOGETHER in fellowship and offer TRIBUTE to God through our worship and praise. Amen!!

My Struggle With Sin
Yes, it is true. I, Chris Cargill, was once a very hard sinner. I did it all. I experimented with drugs, swore constantly, was very angry and ignored my parents. I said I was a Christian but was never in church. I never even prayed or spoke to the Lord. I lied to myself, saying that everything I was doing was right when in truth it was all wrong. A friend opened my heart to the Heritage Baptist Church where I learned and was saved. I'm still progressing in my faith but have since cleaned up and gotten back on a track to being successful in life. I'd like to audition for and make it into a drum corps in DCI as well as college drumlines at both Texas Tech and North Texas University. After receiving my bachelors degree I'll audition for the Air Force Band. I want to be a college professor of music and possibly even a head of the fine arts department of a great university.
